Representatives of the International Society for Human Rights (Internationale Gesellschaft für Menschenrechte) from Germany visited the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania (SACL) on 15 July 2015. They were interested in the cases at the Court, protection and support of human rights in the work of the administrative judiciary in Lithuania.

A ten-member delegation was accompanied by the head of the International Human Rights Organization in Lithuania Jurgita Samoškienė. During the visit, guests met the Vice-President of the Court Irmantas Jarukaitis, acting advisor to the President of the Court Ieva Jasinauskaitė and acting assistant to the President of the Court Agnė Andrijauskaitė.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice-President of the Court Irmantas Jarukaitis introduced the guests to the competence of the Court, the specificity of administrative activities, the latest statistics of cases lodged and resolved and the timeframes of the proceedings. The visiting guests were interested in the most common human rights violations that the Court faces and the examples of areas in which persons are the most active defenders of their own rights. Guests also enquired about cases on the legal status of aliens and cases concerning the protection of minority rights. Following the meeting, guests were invited to have a short tour through the Court building.
